In the three weeks before the Easter holidays, students of Year 4AB dived deep into the world of healthy and unhealthy nutrition in a cross-curricular project that combined English and Biology.
Working autonomously in small groups, students explored important topics such as balanced diets, school lunches, the impact of sugar and fats and how nutrition affects our bodies and minds. The project encouraged critical thinking, creativity and teamwork.
The final products were both informative and entertaining:
Students designed leaflets to educate their peers about healthy food choices and performed role plays that brought everyday food-related situations to life — from family dinners to fast food dilemmas!
Well done to all the students for their enthusiasm, teamwork and insightful contributions. You’ve proven that learning can be both educational and fun!
